I have been a property owner in Truckee for over 25 years, starting with a shared ownership second home and since 1999 as a full time home owner in Tahoe Donner. Before moving to Truckee full time, I lived in the Bay Area and worked for Hewlett-Packard/Agilent for over 25 years in Marketing and Sales – making the weekend and holiday commute to this area. I am a graduate of the University of Minnesota as well as the University of Santa Clara. My wife, Rebecca, also worked in the Bay Area as a recruiter for many high tech companies including DEC, Cisco, Network Appliance, Brocade and most recently Google.
My transition to Real Estate has been supported by my technical background and marketing and sales background. I have multiple websites and use them to gain market presence for buyers and sellers in this area.
In our opinion, the Tahoe/Truckee area is definitely one of the most beautiful places one can live. The scenery, solitude, clean air and outdoor activities are simply unmatched. With access to local golf courses, fishing, skiing and multiple places for hiking and kayaking. Like many other Truckee residents my wife and I like to kayak, swim, hike, fish, play golf, downhill and cross country ski and entertain our friends and family.
The whole Truckee area is undergoing dramatic change as it becomes more of a Ski and Golf destination resort area. New high end communities like Lahontan, Martis camp, Old Greenwood, Grays Crossing, Timilick, Tahoe-at-Northstar and Tahoe Donner make this a truly wonderful place to have a primary or secondary home. My office, Chase International, is focused on the premium Truckee Homes, and is the fastest growing real estate company in the Truckee area.
